Hello you!
That’s it, another month nearly over – but October means my favourite time of year has officially arrived, and I am SO pumped to get my hats and scarves out; to add cinnamon to ALL of my hot drinks; and most of all, get excited about all of the new pieces that those talented makers are creating for the new season.
Please do pop back next Friday morning to read my Halloween low-down: a roundup of all of my spooky small business favourites!
But for now, we’ll have a little look at what September looked like on the blog, and the new creative indie businesses that I have discovered over the last few weeks!
ON THE BLOG THIS MONTH
3rd September – Creative Q&A: Alice the Printer
Back with my fave – the Creative Q&A – and I started the month with a bang. I spoke to super talented illustrator Alice, whose charming work combines familiar subject matter with beautiful colour choices!
10th September – Shopping Small for your Big Day
I was so excited about this round up – I put together a list of 10 small creative businesses who offer a wonderful range of decorations and accessories for your nuptials. We’re talking sparkly clutch bags, celestial tie clips and more!
17th September– Shop a Rainbow
Inspired by the much-loved nursery rhyme, I chose a product to go with each colour of the rainbow!
WHO I’M FOLLOWING ON INSTAGRAM
3 new accounts I have discovered this month:
@whiteraindesigns
Ceramicist Manmeet created beautiful, simple pieces to treasure forever (and I am obsessed with her Christmas mugs!).

@redandthreaduk
These pins by animal lover Ren, are just one small part of her brilliant collection of gifts for pet owners, to honour their furry friends!

@dellavalledesigns_etsy
Drool-worthy colour palettes and recycled materials make up these beauties by Della Valle Designs!

WHAT I’M WEARING
I went away to East Sussex last weekend to celebrate my Dad’s birthday, and packed really quickly after work. Once I got there, I realised the very obvious pink theme that I was clearly feeling while I chucked my jewellery in!
This glorious pile includes my favourite hoops by Miesje Chafer, my neon ‘Yay’ necklace from Rock Cakes and the most beautiful Pink Dalmatian resin ring by Gem Lettuce!

That’s all from me today, just a small update as I am collecting together the content for next week’s Halloween round up – see you there!
