… I bloody love shopping for cards, how about you?
Valentine’s Day is creeping up on us, and this year it falls on a weekend, yay!
So if you are keen to continue to support small businesses, how about doing so when choosing this year’s card? Whether it be for a brand new flame, a long term lover, or an excellent & deserving Galentine, there is a fab folded piece of card out there for you!
We have put together a little round up for you of all of our lovey-dovey favourites, hopefully there will be something here to suit all tastes – from the sickliest sweet to the down right naughty!
I personally look out for cards that make me giggle, so if that’s your jam too, how about these options?
Dead Good Doodles
Good luck choosing just one of these bad boys (or not, buy 4, I’m not here to tell you how to live your life…). I struggled enough to choose which photos to include here, so bye for a bit while you have a giggle and scroll through all of the cheeky cards on offer from Dead Good Doodles.
(Psst – they’re running a 3 for 2 offer on all cards, so maybe stock up for the occasions to come??)
Blackcat & Bumble
These cards are ticking a whole lot of boxes!
We spoke to mega talented Michaela back in August for a creative Q&A (have a read here), and in the months since then she has released SO many fab designs, so do go and take a look!
Amelia Ellwood Design
Simple and silly, what more could you need from these lil babies by Amelia Ellwood?
Plus, the shop is plastic free! Win win!
SHOW THE LOVE
Do you prefer to stick to more of a romantic sentiment? We’ve got ya covered!
Lottie Hall Studio
Just look at these beautiful printed cards by Lottie Hall – we LOVE the joy in these designs, and hope that you do too!
Treat the one person who you would share your chicky nuggies with to one of these (& while you’re there, do yourself a solid and have a look through the positive & empowering prints on offer too!).
Little Red Sparrow
Look at these cards from Little Red Sparrow – aren’t they just the sweetest little screen printed beauties?! I honestly believe that you can do no wrong with a good food pun.
Let’s not forget those fabby friends who have made the last year way more bearable – be it through late night teary FaceTimes, or a surprise snail mail delivery, let’s take this opportunity to thank them!
Laura Frances Heitzman
We love this brill selection of colourful cards for your best gals, by illustrator Laura, and if you can’t choose – grab a pack of 5 to send to the whole gang!
Okay so it isn’t exactly a secret that we can’t resist a pink and red combo, by can we juuust appreciate these?! Loads of designs to choose from, and the option to go for a bundle and buy a 5 pack!
Remember these guys from our Xmas Gift Guide? (wow January was a long-un, December feels like it happened 4 years ago…)
A firm favourite for us, Ditsy Cow have a HUGE range of sassy cards, stickers and prints on offer to make you and your bestie smile.
Has that special someone earned a little more than a card this year?
Have a peek at these lovely gifts!
Georgia May Design
A digital illustration of you and your lobster would make a super cute gift – a fab alternative to the usual choccies and flowers! Something to pop up on the wall and treasure forever.
Georgia also designs beautiful cards, and has an awesome Valentine’s range in her shop for you to take a look at!
Love, Gemma & Co.
Do you and your boo have a special song? Was it your first dance? Or just your best kitchen disco track? Check out this lush design by Love, Gemma & Co., with HEAPS of background colours to choose from and lots of framing/size options!
Not sure about you but I love a theme, so I am super excited to don my beautiful sparkly pink heart studs from Amy at Confetti on the big day! Shop her whole gorge range over at her shop!
I am an absolute lover of spending HOURS in card shops, reading every single silly pun and gazing at the sparkly bits, so I wasn’t as excited to choose this year’s Valentine’s card as usual. However once the search began, I realised it is just as fun online, and I can do it in my PJs!
By no means is this an exclusive list, there is SO much choice out there, so if you can, do spend some time exploring! I hope that lot helped you in your card shopping, and apologies if it made the decision harder…!
Join us here again next week, with a brand new Creative Q&A, with another super duper maker!
