Hello! Happy December!
Has Christmas arrived in your house yet?? I LOVE that everyone is starting early this year – we definitely broke my own rules and bought the tree a week ago!
To celebrate opening the 4th door of our advent calendars, we thought we’d treat you lovely lot to a round up of the fabby decs and cards on offer this year.
Lets start with the decorations – here is a little list of 10 of my current faves!!
1 – HAYLEY VICTORY
Hey let’s start with some brights shall we?! (Unlike me I know.)
Self confessed colour enthusiast Hayley brings so much joy with her beautiful creations – if tassels and rainbow coloured felt are your jam, pop over to her shop to take a peek!
2 – THE SQUIRREL COLLECTIVE
And why not carry on the colourful theme with some absolute BEAUTIES by Tessa? (Read our chat here!) Have a look at her shop for more crochet rainbow loveliness!
3 – GEORGIE’S LITTLE MAKES
These little babies actually made me squeal when I discovered them – who knew I needed a pink Liberty Christmas pudding in my life??
4 – FRANKLY DECOR
If pompoms really do tickle your fancy (um if not why not?), take a look – Jane combines plywood and yarn to create these absolute cuties!
5 – HOUSE OF HOORAY
Make a statement with wonderful décor by Gabrielle – these are sure to put a smile on even the grinch-iest of faces!
6 – FAT POM POMS
Now these bad boys need NO introduction, the photos do all the talking… fancy yourself a budding tinsel pompom wreath maker? Have a glance at Jess’ Etsy shop!
If something does catch your eye, please do be speedy – the whole shop is open until this Sunday (6th December), and after that there will just be a few limited items available!
7 – ROCKET AND FOX
Add a pop of colour to your winter wonderland with these GORGE birch wood pieces – that’s going straight in my basket…
8 – LOTTAS HOUSE
If a neutral colour scheme is more your style (I understand that not everyone wants to be greeted with full on rainbow at 6am…!), these next few choices are perfect!
Talented Charlotte’s shop will be back open this weekend for limited orders, so get in quick!
9 – MODERN COTTAGE CREATES
If you’re looking for a personalised vibe, look no further than these handmade clay creations!
10 – OLIVE & OCHRE
And last but by no means least, we’ve got some beautiful wreaths by brilliant floral artist Alicia – a mix of florals, berries and dreamy velvet ribbon, what a combo!!
Alicia featured on the blog as our very first creative Q&A in the summer – have a read here
And now a few alternative cards and gift wrap to get you feeling festive!
1 – BLACKCAT & BUMBLE
With so so many super fun designs on offer, it was hard to pick just the two, so I urge you to take a look at the other bits available in the shop!
Michaela is another super talented creative who featured on the blog this year – you can read our chat here!
2 – HELEN MACKAY
Check out these lush gift tags by illustrator Helen – her other work is so so good (just missed out on the Christmas cards this year!) so please do give her a follow!
3 – AUDREY & COCO
Just look at these! Plantable eco-friendly greetings cards which, as owner Emma puts it: ‘say exactly what you want to say’!
4 – ANGERTON STUDIOS
Joyful colour and stunning hand writing by Margaret – what more could you need to fulfil those Christmas wishes…?
5 – MILLIE ILLUSTRATES
If you’re a massive fan of the colour pink like me, Millie is ya gal! We very strongly recommend a follow of her work!
So there you have it – I hope you’ve been inspired to get those decs out – from your old crumbly sentimental collection, to your favourite glittery dinosaur, time to let them do their thing!
If you’re buying from small businesses this month, please do bear in mind the posting cut offs and shop as early as you can to allow them to make and ship your goodies!
Happy shopping, and happy December!
